Daniel "Danny" Porter, 62, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023.
Danny was born in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Adelle Porter and William C. Porter. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill Porter.
He is survived by his son Kevin (Jessica) Porter, grandchildren Camden and Adelaide Porter brothers Jimmy (Susan), John (Tammy), and Rob (Karen), sisters Leigh (Gilbert), Stacy (John), and Paige, and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Danny was a beloved bartender at Spanky's DeSoto, and the Quarter and never missed a Braves game.
A celebration of Danny's life will be held on Tybee Island at a later date.
